Occasionally I might post art or photos for public eyes, but only occasionally.

I saw Surrogates with some friends from work. It was pretty good, I guess. Way better than Gamer anyway. And I've been working on my painting. I finally decided what painter I am going to reinterpret, Frans Hals. I had never heard of him, but I love his Jester painting so I'm going to paint it in an Impressionist style. I'm trying for Van Gogh's style, but it is way hard to copy someone else's style I've discovered. *sigh* We'll see how it comes out. I hope I get accepted. Jester with a Lute isn't exactly a famous painting, but Frans Hals is classified as a Master so... yeah, following the rules mostly. Everybody's going to do the Mona Lisa - I want something original!

And, lastly, I couldn't resit more music. These widget thingies are fun and I absolutely freaking adore Wintersleep! They are just brilliant. *dreamysigh* I wish they would come here. I would die of happiness if I could see them live.

I found me a new band. 65daysofstatic. They're an instumental post-rock group and they are awesome! Seriously, I downloaded their song Drove Through Ghosts To Get Here in a playlist and I was hooked already. It's the perfect music when I'm writing a dramatic action scene. Oh, yes.

I'm feeling much better today. My head's still a little cloudy, but I can breath again. Tomorrow I'm going to the art museum in New Orleans. Sweeeeeet!

No art museum sadly. But I got to finish my reviews and sleep late which made up for it I guess.

I miss... the ideals of childhood. You know, that anything's possible. When you're a kid you half believe in every fairy tale you read or watch. Ha, I remember getting so furious with my mother once for telling me faeries weren't real. That was blasphemy in my little-kid-eyes especially since I had just seen Fairy Tale and was absolutely convinced faeries were real. I mean it said "True Story" on the movie cover what more evidence did I need!

I think the reason why we're so apt to believing anything as children is because our imaginations are always running wild. I'm glad I didn't completely lose that. Although now I could still use some more of that imagination and creativity I had as a squirt. I could make a game out of anything back then. I was never bored. Once I made a shark out of duck tape to use in a reenactment of the Little Mermaid II. It came out perfect and it was water proof and everything!

I need help. Which picture do you think is better? Left or right? I know they look very similar; the difference is in the mouth placement mostly.

I think I'm beginning to figure out my camera, finally.

Since I'm too awake to go to sleep and since I don't feel like doing anything else that requires any kind of brain activity I'm posting this character interview I did awhile back from the same story I've been babbling about for the last few months... or years.

The picture looks awful, but I've decided to post it anyway. From left to right, Mytch, Nicky, Bandit and Cassi, Julian, Narcissa. Mytch came out look really weird and so did Narcissa... and Julian. Really only Cassi came out anywhere near close to how I wanted her to look. The actual drawing is really small.

Yeah, yeah, inconsistent journal-updating-girl has finally decided to post something. I'd say I'll try to update more often, but don't listen to anything I say 'cause it probably won't happen anyway. Um, I still have to upload pictures from my vacation. I know, it's about time, but you see I have them all on the laptop and I have to send them to my email, but the folder's too big so I'm gonna have to go through them and send them two-by-two or something. So anyway... I was tagged!!! YAY! I've been wanting to do something like this!
